WHY USE DESICCANT?

1.In product packaging and during storage and transportation, water vapor will invisible enter into the products, bringing damp hurt including fading or dyeing, the fabric texture becomes brittle, moldy or musty, some pure natural organic fabrics may even be moth-eaten, and so on. Therefore, it is very necessary for the manufacturer to take some precautions to ensure that your product can reach the destination intact.
2.Calcium chloride desiccants are made with the highest purity calcium chloride that can absorb up to 3X their own weight in moisture, and offering greater and longer-lasting protection against mold and moisture damage from within your product packaging.

Applications

They are economical and easy to use inside cartons, polybags, boxes and other forms of packaging, and can be used to protect a wide range of products including but not limited to textiles, footwear, leather, homeware, wood, glassware, agricultural products and more. It is not recommended to use calcium chloride desiccants with electronic items or with metal part.

1.Choose desiccant placement according to packing method
The desiccant can only function efficiently in a relatively closed environment, so please place the desiccant in a relatively closed environment for use. Therefore, before using the desiccant, please choose the location of the desiccant according to your packaging method. 

2.Choose the dosage of desiccant according to the package size

 Packaging refers to cartons, inner boxes, plastic bags, etc. Our desiccant is available in different specifications, including 2g, 5g,10g,25g,50g, 100g.The following are our recommended dosage:

3.How to use desiccant in small packages
Preparatory work:
Please check the humidity of the package box with a humidifier before packing the product. Make sure the moisture content of the packing box is lower than15% (12%~13% is the best), if more than 15%, please increase the dosage of desiccant.

Using Steps:
1, Remove the desiccant from the carton and cut open the plastic package.
2, Take out the right amount of desiccant and put it into your package.
3, Seal your packing as soon as possible.
4, Sealed the remaining desiccants.
